Privacy Policy
Your life story is the most personal thing there is. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices and rights you have. We collect only what we need to preserve your story and build your everlasting presence for you and your family.
1What we collect
You provide: your name, email, and — at purchase — your billing and shipping address; your recordings, voice, photos and video; and family details you choose to add (relatives, dates). Payment information is collected and stored by our processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Automatically: basic activity and device data to operate and secure the service, and standard analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors move through our public pages so we can improve them.
2How we use it
To provide the service — record and store your stories, assemble your documentary, and enable the family you designate to access them; to process payments and ship the Studio Kit; to secure the service and communicate with you; and, only where you separately consent, to build your everlasting presence (voice, likeness, conversational presence) as described in the Everlasting Presence Consent.
3Who can see your content
Your story is private to you and the historians and family you designate. We do not sell your personal information or your content, and we do not use your voice, likeness, or stories to train models for anyone else or to build another person’s presence.
4Service providers we rely on
We use trusted providers strictly to operate the service, including Supabase (secure storage and database), Stripe (payments and tax), Resend (email), and AI voice/interview providers used only to power your presence under your consent. Each processes data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
5Security and retention
We protect your content with access controls and encryption in transit and at rest. We keep your content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the everlasting presence you enabled. If you cancel, we give you a window to export before deletion. You can delete individual recordings or your account at any time.
6Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your information from My Account, and you can grant or withdraw each everlasting-presence permission at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, deletion, portability, objection); contact us to exercise them.
7After your passing
If you enable posthumous access, the family you designate may continue to access your archive and presence after you pass away, under the permissions then in effect. If you do not enable it, access ends according to your settings.
